Now you know one of the reasons I don’t go to TSC during chick days. Just one of them though.

Yes Miss I do! In all honesty, when I saw them last week, I wasn't interested. That's also when I thought I was going to get a much higher hatch rate.

I wanted to take the ducklings too. There was only 2 remaining, and they where cuddled up with each other being very cute. Im pretty sure they where Pekin though... That small and cuteness would only last so long!

At least the chicks where somewhat part of the plan.

None so far. The 1 that externally piped had progressed a bit, but no action on the others. The Shamo eggs are 2 days behind, and I've got a feeling the Blue Isbars didn't make it.

I promise, most of the questions I've asked you, I do look up first. I just trust your judgement/experience better than my own.

I would have thought that one would be hatched by now can you see progress? I hope some of the others hatch too. Please post your heat cave when done. I bought a heat plate but always love to see what others use.

The 1 had progressed a small bit. Couple of shell offers came off but the membrane is still there. I just checked it about 10 minutes ago and it's chirping and I can hear a scratching sound too. It's coming up on the 24 hour mark though...

Oh, and I'll post pictures of the cave here shortly. I'd like to get a heat plate, but I already had the stuff on hand to make the cave.

Usually chicks just pop right out. Might go on the hatching thread for advise if you haven’t.
