Morning, dux sympathizers!

It’s going to be hot here again today. I planted another dozen tomato plants yesterday, along with more cabbage and pepper plants.

I woke up to a notice we had a storm over night that dropped silver dollar size hail.

I am trying to get the courage up to check my garden.

I am not sure if I should look before or after church..

Yup. Already up to 80 out there. At least the area of the garden I'm working is in the shade.

Also fennel makes a pretty plant.

Swiss chard and fennel are plants I've only just discovered on google and do look pretty! I've gathered you roast fennel? But what about the chard is it like salad greens?

You could do that. I like to saute it with some olive oil garlic and red pepper tastes like beets.

Oh and fennel is also good shaved raw in salad.

Shaved fennel, beets and goat cheese with balsamic dressing is one of my favs.

It is hot here like in the 90s my chickens are hot just gave them some electrolytes hosed down the geese and fill there pools now I am hot.lol I grow cherry tomatoes egg plant basil and rosemary peppers I did have lettuce found one I my geese laying on them no l have flat lettuce. Lol. Have I good day every one keep cool.

My tomatoes are starting to come in, the green beans are done, I'm over run with cukes.

I have a big problem. I wanna keep all my ducklings. They're all too pretty!
Look at them, how gorgeous they are!

The four grey have the same mother, two different fathers. 3 girls and one drake. The black who's hiding is also a lovely big drake that I wanna keep (but shouldn't).

This one's an absolute keep, with the soft grey magpie pattern I'm gonna breed on.

If the next batch of ducklings turn out just as pretty, my duck coop's gonna be filled to the brim with ducks for the winter.
