I came home to a hatched duckling yesterday.
I hadn't even put them on "lock down" yet because I wasn't sure what day they were on since I pulled them from a broody.
I guess that one did not give a hoot about lock down lol.
5 more eggs to go. . I think they are almost ready.
One doesn't look so good though.
I really expected to find another one hatched today but not even one pip.

Well the little one seems to have got it's footing a bit better now. Now it's not so clumsy. It does look like it's legs and toes are nice and straight too. Overall, it appears to be a healthy little chick.

I'm not sure what's going on, but I haven't felt right for about 2 weeks now. It's probably just the lingering effects of my recent flair up, but if it doesn't clear up soon I'm going to need some medical attention.
