I have been lurking on your site for a few days. It was nice to find a social duck site.
I am new to BYC. I am new to chickens, period. We have had ducks since last spring when we moved here. This year I got six new baby Muscovies and well, they aren’t “babies” anymore.
I am learning a lot from everyone on BYC, and I am enjoying my new feather-family very much.
My name is Kathie, and My husband is Mike. We retired and moved to South Carolina from PA three years ago. Last year we moved onto our little place “in the woods“.
Three dogs (boxers), one cat, four chickens, four adult ducks, six ducklings.

Good morning. Canning day again. Why do I ever want a garden today will be the last of the cucumbers. Just in time for tomatoes. I'm also planning mango and papaya jam, and hoping to score some blackberries tomorrow. Oh and duck liver pate.
