I have seen some of your pictures, I just don’t remember the eggs and nests. So cool.

So heres an "expired" emu egg next to a duck egg for size comparison (duck egg about same size as turkey) they get bleached by the sun when old... don't eat white emu eggs...

and a nest on the fence line taken back in June

The smell of a rotten chicken egg is bad, a rotten duck egg is ten times worse, so how bad are white emu eggs?

I've thankfully never had one pop. But you can smell them before that

Emu eggs always get their own incubator They incubate at a different temperature than basically anything else.

Emu eggs are a gorgeous emerald green:

I still want to see a quail hatching an emu egg, or raising an emu chick.

And of course, it goes without saying, but I will, I hate to see anything hatching a Despicable Dux egg....


It appears the Dux are causing mischief up here.
You have seen the view from my deer stand, Well I think the dux moved my stand. The view is way different.
