Hey guys, I'm trying to sex my ducklings. Top Hat, my crested Pekin seems to be mute. has anybody ever had a mute duck?

Really? I was sure they were in the champions of the world comp. I had Limousin. Here there is shorthorns. And the other properties are hosting yaks on agistment. Thats sort of like you are doing, but the owners pay the land holder $x a day per head. And I don't mean litteral yaks. Thats what we call bos indicus cattle here

I learned something. I thought they were Brahma.
Google says Brahma are Zebus. I thought Zebu were zebra like. I just knew it as a good scrabble word and never looked it up.

Brahmans (how we spell it) santas, drought masters, and everything in between we call yaks. No idea why. Maybe because they are hardy like yaks? Zebus are cute. But they are normally kept by hobby farmers.

I have not even heart about mute ducks. Are you sure he is not a shy drake? - I remember Donald wasn't speaking up until he was almost five months old.
