I might be getting some muscovies. I have a friend who's cutting back on her birds and has a flock that she wants to sell. I'm leaning towards yes, just gotta decide where I'd want to put them.

From experience muscovies decide where they want to go. But seriously they are the most dog like and adorable duck!

This is true my Muscovies literally act like dogs and run up for pets every time I go outside.

Well l made it through the holidays it was cold and to boot my truck broke down ball joint lucky it went down right down the road from me. I guess things could be worse. I hope 2021 is better for me and you all.

I don't know much about Muscovy ducks, but i heart that, due to their uncovered caruncles, they are less cold resistant than mallard breeds. And afaik the winters in Vermont are brutal.

Duck weather here in West Virginia: The winds are coming from the South, it has warmed up significantly and the white fungus is melting into water, creating huge puddles and a large amount of mud.
