Morning Conspirators !!
But they are so expensive! - And they look like egg-cookers…I have two Brinsea minis . they work well. Last hatch was100%
Thank you very much for looking this up!This one will work fine for you.

You have EMUs?! - Isn't that a lot of work and food and… ?No it will notIf I trusted that underlined ALL eggs thing, my emus would be cooked. (I know by 'you' you probably meant WannaBeHillBilly, but you quoted my post so I had to respond, haha.)
My first couple incubators were Styrofoam. I've hatched with them before. They worked if you wanted to monitor the heck out of them and keep them in a room that maintains the same temperature perfectly with no drafts or fluctuations. Or I knew someone that built wooden boxes to fit around the incubators that he could put them into, and that works too if you want to take the time and money.
I quit using them after the incubator cooked some of my eggs after the room temperature went up a little one day and the 'bator spiked to 105. So I invested in a Brinsea and my life was much easier knowing I didn't have to monitor the incubator so closely.
Nowadays I wouldn't go for a Brinsea, though. They're just too pricey compared to the other options that will work fine.
The newer Styrofoam ones might be better, though. I haven't used one in probably seven or eight years now.
I want to build my own incubator! - Just to challenge myself, but right now i don't have the time to do so. Some Chinese people are craving for duck@Jpat built his own and was very successful with it.
Hillbilly do you never get your tags?Good Day, Afternoon, Evening, Night or Morning to all inhabitants of the Blue Marble!
So far 2021 doesn't look that much different that 2020: Its cold, full of rain and mud!
Yes to both but depends on how much you hatch. Lots of good reviews on Nurture right. If you are going to hatch regularly, its worth the extra money. If you only p!an to use it once or twice not so much so. I've been hatching four times a year so its worth it to me to set and forget. But they are so expensive! - And they look like egg-cookers…![]()
I'm going to go right ahead and say every incubator that wants to hatch either donkey or camel (yep, incubators for camel) is the code word for the ones that catch fire. If it hatches neither donkey nor camel then it should be okay. Maybe for you a cheapie will be a good start as you are worried about getting attached and then if you can bring yourself to sell the boys on invest in a top quality oneMaybe i should buy this incubator from AliExpress and hatch some donkeys?
@Pyxis do you know where i can buy some donkey eggs?
