Good morning Patti, have a great day and stay warm. Just started snowing here, hopefully it leaves quickly.

They are even talking snow here next week. Hope its all talk and no do. The young man I gave hatching eggs to a little over a month ago had less than 50% hatch and half of those deformed and had to be dispatched and some died after hatching. I think it must be a temp problem with his incubator. Anybody got suggestions? The ducks except for two were pretty young. I'm very puzzled and want to drop some eggs in my bator as a test but no more ducklings here.

How many days did they incubate before hatching?

That would indicate too warm or too cool of temps.

Good morning every one got a little snow this morning . I am waiting for spring . my geese are starting to pair off . one of the babies CJ is courting one of the African, Wanda . it is funny to watch. no breeding yet. when the eggs start coming is when I worry RACOONS . I see a lot of tracks I gave up on trapping them. I wish I could hirer some one to hunt them at night. lol. well I hope everyone stays warm and safe.

It’s a thing put out by the official weatherdorks advising of poor weather. It’s to make them feel important and be able to sell more tv and radio ads.

We have a (sheep) graziers warning for really cold events which as it sounds is so farmers can move their sheep and other fragile animals to sheltered areas. (We all seem to lamb over autumn and winter)
