Can confirm one of my ducklings is a girl. Maybe she will let me take pictures today. My husband has also invested in a trio of orpingtons (buff) so we are operating at full coopacity again. Still considering the geese. @Miss Lydia how do your ducks and geese get along?

My gander and my Muscovy drake are mortal enemies my gander and my Runner drakes pay no attention to each other at all.

Love the Buff Orpington I have 2 females. Of course they don't know they are Buffs they were hatched with my Runners and since there are more Runners than Buffs these 2 girls run with the Runners.

It's funny how what you raise animals with is what they believe they are. They are very sweet chickens. I wonder if I got goslings and raised with the ducks they would think they are ducks?

One gosling would two would imprint on each other most on likely. My gander was hatched and raised by a Muscovy he thought he was a giant Muscovy for 5 yrs had no idea what that 4 month old gosling was I brought home. He did not like her at all. It took close to 4 months and breeding season until he was in love plus I had to separate him and her from the Muscovy ducks. Now he doesn’t like any of the Muscovy but I have to keep him and the drake separated during breeding season they can get into some big ole fights.
