Love your story, @Trimurtisan. I, too, have fallen in love with my Muscovies. I have never had ducks until 12 weeks ago. They were given to us, 2 drakes and a female. The whites became a pair, and unfortunately, the other colorful drake disappeared. We now have 6 babies and a clutch on the way. I also, dread culling the flock, but my husband feels differently. Can't wait to see pics of your lovelies.

Muscovies are so fun! (Though a different kind of "fun" when they go broody) feel free to share photos with us. Sadly Trim hasn't returned since March last year, but we are all here waiting for his return. Feel free to stick around and share your duckys with us. And we will do same with you 😁

Today has been a wonderful day with a surprise! My "babies" have quickly become unruly teenagers!! I spent15 minutes in the rain trying to get my 6 ducklings (12 weeks) to go inside their coop for the night. Until yesterday, they would very obediently march right into their coop when I coaxed them, but not anymore. Now they split into 2 groups and refuse to go in quietly. Any suggestions??
