Hey you guys. My hospital ducks ate well yesterday. Not so much today yet. I went and bought them some starter to eat. May be back to tube feeding today.

I have to get off ideals mailing list. I keep getting poultry specials of the week. Also, after the "incident" I bought a Nurture right 360 which I have full of eggs from the dead ducks. I'm having a heck of a time with the humidity. It fluctuates all over the place. My Brinsea was always steady. Anybody have one?

I maybe victim to trying to save money. I have two Brinsea 7 egg ers but one was out on loan. Obviously I couldnt ask for it back and I lost more than 7 ducks. So the Nurture right was 22 eggs for the same price as a 7 egger from Brinsea. It has some good features. Built in candler. More room for eggs to turn. Think more room for hatch. But the humidity moves 20 points in a matter of a few hours. It has an adjustable air hole. Maybe I need to figure that out.

I've got one and I love it. Is the room's humidity fluctuating, or just the incubator humidity?

Just the incubator. Its been dry for here but steady 30 in the house. Usually 50 or better inside. The incubator is getting as low as 30 and I add water and it goes to 60 and then about 4 hours later, the waters gone and I'm back to 30. I probably just need to learn to use it. I'm spoiled with the Brinsea which were set it and forget it. This one seems to need more attention. The proof will be in the hatch and it has very precious content from my dead girls. Not ideal for learning.

Are you using a seperate device to measure humidity? The incubators gauge itself may just be out. My Janoels gauge does opposite, the higher the humidity, the lower the reading and the lower the humidity the higher the reading.
