Duck at the vet having his penis removed. My dh says I can't talk about it. So of course I can't stop.

Ok, Count Duckula is home but he left his penis behind. He seems pretty good although still a little loopy. The vet tech said it was a shame he didn't have a name so he is now Count Duckula, the penis less drake.

Glad to hear he made it through and is recovering.

I went to the first bird swap of the year on Sunday. I sold some emus - but I had sold them ahead of time, people were just picking them up.

At the end of the swap, I bought some raffle tickets to support the club youth. Tossed them in a few things. And I won five saxony ducklings, two dozen salmon faverolles hatching eggs, a dozen duck hatching eggs, and a dozen turkey hatching eggs. Whoops!

So anyway I set 60 eggs last night, haha. And am the new owner of a small flock of Saxony ducks.

I love my Salmon Saveriolles they are the sweetest hens.
