How pretty lovely color. My mix looks more cochin than silkie.

Her body is Cochin, her head is Silie, down to the blue ears! :D

She looks like someone stuck the wrong head on her. But she is very pretty. My daughter was quite pleased with her, and the other chickens I got her. Apart from the OEGB, I got her two Splash Cochin bantams. Hmmm, guess I should get a few shots of them, too...

Yup, read through the whole thing two days ago! I didn't get a chance to pick up some vet wrap yet, but since I can't really do anything until she moults, that can wait.

Thank you! <3
Also, vet wrap is hard. If your dd has some old legging I'd you can cut off a leg and pull it over their heads and position the wing correctly under that. Its harder for the duck to get out of. But the duck looks like a sausage.
Yeah they are 2 weeks 3 days since we got them. I was just more worried since the temps have dropped now that rain and then being young they would get chilled too much. Probably just worried for nothing. We do always give the babies swim times, and probably even younger than most would suggest.

Update: it warmed up so they are currently getting some pool time!
Cheater! You took that picture within seconds. They pooped immediately.

Yeah, it is quite funny. It is something we have noticed. It is like soon as they hit the water, poop. We thought maybe the first ones was just odd, but now after our rouen and the new babies we have just came to the realization. They all just hold it until it is swim time, so they can dirty the water haha. Really though they don’t hold it ever, it still amazes me how much they eat, and how fast they grow, and they are some poop machines for real!

I had my heart set on Brahmas, but I think I'll stick to Wyandottes instead. Don't want to mix the flock too much, and there are so many pretty colours.

Another bunny got out, but it was my own fault. Forgot to latch the cage...
Haven’t done the chickens yet ourselves, my brother has and he was raising rabbits a few years ago. Hope you was able to find your little bunny and hoping it was safe!

He's still loose out there. I keep chasing him, he keeps evading me.

Set out a live trap earlier. Caught a duck.
