:jumpy Chick pic time! :jumpy
Tonights music brought to you by 21 Pilots.
None of these have names, and at the time the cockerels are slate for harvested meat. I was going to keep the Cuckoo Maran, but he's already a butthead and I don't like him. Plus I am counting on getting the Blue Birchen Maran roo who is said to be a gentleman. :fl (blue birchen is so much prettier than cuckoo imo)
Okay, on to the chicks!
:wee
The Dorking who needs a name. I'm pretty sure she is a she, and if she is a he, he is very sweet. Either way the Dorking will be staying around for a while. It's the only chick that does not run from me, and will actually come up and see whats going on. Not spastic at all! This is my favorite chick of the bunch.

Next is the Barred Rock who I suspect is a cockerel. It's also curious, but not in the way the Dork is. This guy is cautious, and will run, but will also peck my finger from around the feeder. I think the look in his eyes kind of says it all. :) He is pretty, I'll give him that. I've not been a fan of the barred look, but the depth in the black and the clash of the white are rather pretty in person.

This guy is going in the stock pot! :rant
He's rude, super flighty, and a bully. I had to move the Dork because he would keep her hiding in the corner. Catching him is like catching a full grown chicken! :he
He'd probably make a great free ranging rooster, but with his current attitude, he's not going to make it here very well. I did want to keep him originally, but grrrr, not anymore!

The Gold Laced Wyandotte who I am pretty sure is a pullet. She is also super flighty, but not as bad as the butthead. I would guess she would also make a good free ranger, she is constantly on the lookout. Besides not liking to be handled, which is understandable, I don't have any complaints about her.

EE chick #1. I think it's a pullet, but I've really got no clue. It's flighty, and not curious at all about what I am doing. I don't know... Not much to say about it. I'm not particularly drawn to the EEs.

EE #2. Again, I think it's a pullet, but it is also ~15-20% larger than the other EE. I do particularly like the coloring of this one. Besides that it's also flighty and not interested in my at all. One up side with the EEs is they are the Dork live together, and everyone gets along just fine.

There is also a Corish X but I didn't get any pics. It's ugly, and if you've seen one, you know what this 1 looks like. ;)
