I fell asleep really early yesterday evening, now it is hortly after midnight and i am fully awake!

Look at Pinballs neck and head how many feathers she has grown for the upcoming winter and listen carefully what she has to say…

Is she predicting the winter weather forecast?

I haven't but it looks like it might work as long as there are no nasty chemicals to leach into the plants.

That is my concern too: For example these WallWart boxes are covered in blue paint on all four sides… I just assume one of the largest retailer wouldn't use any harmful chemicals in their paint, would they?
I looked at some "recipes" in the internet and most of them recommend to "wash" the paper-mache to get rid of the paint-particles and painter's ink. On the other hand we have a septic-system here and i don't want to flush this stuff down the toilet.
Its complicated! - I take that as a challenge…

Remember, you're on the other side of the Appalachian Mountains, so the weather will be different. As far as i know your side is a tad wetter and warmer than here, but what do i know…

Welp, 'video' training is now done for work. Tomorrow night I do actual training. Bluh.

Also, sorry to be gone so long. And come back with a question. I raised these two Welshie hens from eggs. One is what I would consider typical, the other is brown headed. Is this gold phase?

In Gold phase the wings feathers (can't remember what those are called) are gray? Not blue.
