I think the post master had fun with them too. When I got there I asked if they had been serenading him all day. He answered with "Oh sure. They'd sing for a while then take a 20 minute nap. The chirps are quite cute." I asked for a pair of scissors to check for doa's, to which there where none, but the post master leaned in and smiled when I opened the box. This guy was much nicer than the last master. (I had to explain to the last one my package was insured, and that if my package was damaged, she could verify it... like she had never heard of damaged or insured mail... )

All babies are active, and extremely curious. There seems to be no fear at all. I gave them some save a chick, and the took off like tightly wound springs!

Aww so sweet. I can tell you they are going to beautiful. This is one of my females from Cackle she is 9 weeks old View attachment 1820286
She is very pretty. Thanks for the preview. It's amazing that's she's only 9 weeks old. Where your runners from there instantly social? These guys where, but my Ancona have had a healthy skepticism the entire time. Except for Terry. Terry is my team captain.

Yes brooding sure makes them more social my Runners that were hatched an raised by my Muscovy’s are nothing like these I can get a few to eat out of my hand but these little ones love to nibble on me and like to be around me. Now they don’t want me to pick them up but that’s okay being able to rub a bill and have them nibble on me is awesome enough. Even these two little ones that just hatched 2 days ago love to be cuddle and held isn’t it just precious?
