I still do not know who lays the blue eggs. That flock is 2 Cayugas, two black runners, one blue runner , one brown runner, one F&W and the blue drake.

Could be the Cayugas. They can be anywhere from near-black to almost no pigment. Blue would fall in that spectrum.

I have always leaned toward it being the Cayugas. The eggs started off being green and are getting more blue as time goes on. 4 of the 9 eggs we have in @Magnolia Ducks incubator are blue . Totally not planned but hatch day is Easter Sunday or Monday.

Looking at my black babies I think its runner. Maybe Carole Ann could be Cayuga a but the others are so upright they have to be pure runner. I got all my half runners from you and these are not half. Cayuga eggs tend to be grey or white. I can't wait to see your hatch.

Maybe this will help. My blue, Blk, and silver Runners all lay blue eggs. My fawn and white cream colored.

I worked straight from 8am to 4pm today, only 10 minutes break to let the ducks out at 9 - but i found the error on my customer's machine. Now i'm dizzy, time to go outside and play with some ducks.

Who has experience with scaley leg mites? It's been years since I've dealt with it. Once gone will the leg scales go back to looking normal? Or do they stay stuck up?
