Update on Blanca Duck: Slow progress but progress…
I spare you yet another »Blanca Duck in the Bathtub« video, but here she is on Tuesday evening, in her favorite spot under the table on our patio, preening herself after spending more an hour in the bathtub, flooding the basement, ripping holes into the shower-curtain and clogging the tub's drain with feathers:
Monday was the first time - about one minute into the video - when she lifted her entire right leg off the ground. She is doing a little bit better every day, unfortunately, so applying medication is getting a little bit harder every day too…
Today, after devouring my nose and chewing off my right ear, Blanca bit me through my T-shirt in the um - chest. Where it hurts most.
We gave up on those vitamin B tablets, instead she gets her Vitamin B in her drinking water. But the Zinc-Gluconate and the doxycycline pills are mandatory. Causing the loss of fingers every day. A five year old duck knows how to defend herself…
Sorry for all the typos, my glasses are still in orbit…
