Well, it looks like i have been ripped off: According to the German Wikipedia:
»Die Yacón lässt sich nicht durch Samen vermehren, sondern nur durch Aufteilung der Vermehrungswurzel…«
which translates to:
»The yacón cannot be propagated by seeds, but only by dividing the propagation root«
And i have been sold 100 yacon-seeds… :barnie
Don't buy that on Amazon:

Thats horrible! I hope you report them!!
...now to find some yacon so we can dig up root and propogate...

They were white?

I'm really not a big fan of white ducks (or chickens, or any other animal, really). Personal choice.
My white Muscovy gal has a splash of black on her back and with her blue eyes is one of the prettiest ducks I have. Of course I have blue eyes too so I am probably just partial, lol.

Okay, picture time!

First, here's Mochi, the Buff:

Next is Matcha, the supposed Swedish. She's obviously not blue, but due to her build and wing coloration I don't think she is.

Notice the blue-eyed blue Magpie 'scovy next to her.

And here are both of them using the *drinking* water tub to bathe! :D

Lemme guess, the Buff Orpington is significantly smaller than the other ducks but also significantly louder than all of the other ducks together?
She has the same »tease me and i quack you deaf« look in her face like Violeta Duck.

They all need some TLC by the looks of their feathers. - You still have white fungus on the ground?

Report them yes, but refund? - I have to prove that the seeds i will receive around March 21st are not yacon, which means planting them and wait for what emerges. By that time the seller will have closed shop and moved on under another name…

She's actually about the same size as my Magpie and a bit bigger than another of the females. She's not overly loud, either. Her 'Swedish' companion is more so! She seems to have a very shy personality so far. That may change once she gets used to everything. ;)

Yes, their feathers are a mess. Even with cleaning and adding fresh material in their coop, they still manage to get poop and wetness everywhere, and are unable to properly bathe. Daytime temps are going to be above freezing all week and even overnight for the next few nights, so tomorrow I hope to be able to do a thorough clean up and give them a bit more water. Still means hauling it down by the bucketful though.

Hoping all the fungus disappears soon! Even though that means mud for a while.
