Last year that young red-shoulder hawk was plucking the ducklings left and right here, even when i was outside.

The man that I bought my Fawn and White Runners from told me that his flock could fly very well. If chased by some of the other flock members they might have flown off together. Some people claim they can't fly but this man told me his could go quite a distance. I pinioned mine as soon as I got them home so that I would not lose them as I live in a housing development and the neighbor has large Pitt Bulls that would love a duck dinner. I pray that yours return.
