my pink/blue ones only had 3 or 4 blooms per year for the last six years - and then suddenly this year they bloomed like crazy! don’t give up hope. It might’ve been the way I pruned them or the time that I did it.
i have an enormous limelight one that has always bloomed magnificently and it’s getting ready to bloom for this year almost there almost there

Pictures please. Okay when is the best time to prune? My one in the ducks yard is healthy but no blooms.

I have Hydrangea here and mine never bloom.

When i plant Hydrangea here, they just don't grow. They just sit there, grow a new leaf here and there and then either just die, freeze or are eaten by a deer.

I thought the hairy stems and leaves of squash plants would deter ducks… But what you can't eat, you can trample or sit flat.

Hydrangeas bloom on older growth. So what looks like dead sticks in winter is not. Prune in late spring after its greener up. Then you can see what's really dead. If you prune off all what looks like dead in fall or winter you are pruning next years flowers.

Also lots of water and a scant tablespoon of Epsom salts.

I thought the hairy stems and leaves of squash plants would deter ducks… But what you can't eat, you can trample or sit flat.

They have tasted the Hydrangea but so far after 20 yrs of ducks it is still alive. I just cut it back at the wrong time. Oh yes I walk through the garden dept at Lowes and think I used to have that flower and it is long gone either eaten or trampled into oblivion. It's def the strong survive when you have poultry what the ducks don't tramp on the chickens will dig up.

All kinds of Mint in Giant pots does great… and you can pick from it and toss bits into the coops to freshen them
