I was supposed to work on the Sunny's new Duck-Palace yesterday, but had to buy more duck-food first and on the way back from the farm store i spotted a »for sale by owner« sign, stopped and bought this on the spot:

No more renting a trailer from you-howl to buy layer-pellets. The tool-box is not bolted down (but can be) and contained a second set of wheels and a trailer-jack stand.

here in MD also light rain all week gradually softening what was hard dry ground. Ducks are very happy except for Poppy. Well, maybe she’s happy too with no more gasping for air from the aspergillus - since she has now passed away into the ever after beyond. RIP little Poppy. Only 18 months old fawn and white runner . my favorite little clown. I really hate it when the young ones die.

So sorry for your loss. I lost two of my favorite recently that were young also to a predator. I was sick about it. Since then we have put up all new pens and hopefully they will be much more secure now.

How is everybody? I'm seeing videos of huge flooding in Helene's path

miss Lydia lives in an area in the western north carolina mountains that was hit extremely hard. there is no power no water no cell service there, this is why we have not seen her on here since thursday evening. i continue to pray for her and hers. will be so relieved when we hear from her.

the ducks forum needs some of us duck people to fill in for miss lydia until she’s back, i’m trying to check in there a few times a day and help anyone that i can.

I feel for her also. I have sent her text messages but I know she cannot respond. They have all been in my prayers. I wish there was someway I could help her. My heart breaks for everyone is the states that have been so affected by the hurricane.
