I am wondering if this might be a partridge. What do you think @HuffleClaw? There is an orange spot near the tail, and 2 light orange streaks on it.

The first one is either blue or black... I’m thinking black. And the second one is white.

Omg they are too cute Chris! :love

I do agree! I had a look at a partridge chick, and this is not it lol.

Blue would be cool, but I'm guess black also. It's pretty dark.
:D

They are adorable. Have you been to the feed store again or to the incubator?
Me? Never! :D
I called one of the local feed shops, and they told me they would get new CXs on Friday.
I went to get 5 more, but they had the Silkies, and Polish also. I really want a polish, but the ones they had looked around 14+ days old, and the Silkies were just 2-3 days old. (I think they had a candy corn polish too :( )

Mary and I gave grown pretty fond of the Silkies recently. I totally get the Silkie fandom now. The cockerel likes to bit my finger, but it's normally when I catch him off guard. He seems more defensive than aggressive. Im going to let him hang around for a bit longer, but he's getting listed for sale too. Hopefully he finds a good place.

What color are the CLB males? This one looks black, but it's still wet.

I need to write you by the way. Sorry I've not done so earlier. Life snuck up and bit me in the rump.

With the family being sick and 3 days of rain in a row, things got a bit messy here. I scrubbed all the water sources today including the pools.
I'll spare you thr before pictures.
Yuk yuk yuk! :sick

This is not even 5 minutes later! They love fresh water, but I think it's just because they can dirty it.

In the next couple of days I want to pull out all the dead vegetation behind the pools. Give the birds some bugs and goodies to search for. Let them poop and stir it up. I've got another overgrown patch to clear and I'll let it die where the current pile is. The birds loved it when i spread the leaves out, so I'm going to try and keep that idea going.
