Hey there. Landed back home and hit the ground running getting this place winterized before we get hit. It has not been bad so far so this year we wrapped the duck run in clear plastic before the snow and wind kicked our behinds. Phew!

Is your run still well-ventilated?

One of the chicks has a bloody stool.

That's no good, Trim. One of the indoor chicks? My first thought would have been cocci if the chick was outside, but that seems less likely indoors.

See, what had happened was... It was just a cecal poop, but the heat lamp made it look like blood, and I forgot to delete that part of the post.

I just had someone say to me that I should be vegan because I have a farm, and if I eat animals I don't truly love them. Vegans aren't the nicest sometimes.

We won't be above 30 till late spring I hate the cold months.. I prefer fall and early spring.

Do you really want to compare your temperate climate to my arctic climate?

OH MY GOSH. I was in class and 2 people are talking about how vegans are destroying the world, talking about how they scream at people they torture animals.. I said nothing to them about this . Yes I know, people are so random and entitled sometimes
