Anyone know how to keep duck coops clean? My ducks poop all over the beds and I use straw but they duck it up and get water all over it.
Yes, I've got some solutions for you! They work great for me!
For their bedding use either pine shavings or peat moss. They are both absorbent unlike straw and hay. It's best if you can use peat moss. Pine shavings are absorbent, but peat moss is extremely absorbent - perfect for ducks. Do not use straw, it doesn't work well with ducks.

Another tip for help keeping water spillage to a minimum ~ water your ducks with a 1 or 2 gallon bucket put inside of a deep tray. Then most of the water they spill goes into the tray and not on to the floor.
Here is a picture of it. It works great for me. :)

Good morning guys. I'm gonna soak my duck in epsom salt for as long as I have to to get the scabs off.. or try to, my mallard normally takes his brother down to the creek for a swim and Ollie gets pretty sad and never holds still. :frow
Top of the morning DL! Hopefully you can get that bumble foot under control here soon.
