I know my Muscovy go through a big molt in fall losing flight feathers they also have mini molts not very noticeable. My Runners and Buffs don’t show molt like my Muscovy do but they usually molt in Spring. I don’t remember ever seeing my others with out their flight feathers but maybe it’s because they don’t have large wings like scovy do.

Well if he’s using his leg now I’d say it’s progress. Hopefully once the swelling continues to go down he’ll be using it even more. Even the trauma of being dug into can take a while to get over!did you get info on where to order Baytril? Or are you going through the vet? Keep up the good work!

Today's just a day trip. I decided not to respond to the bird in Tampa. I don't have enough quarantine space to bring in another bird.

He might still be in pain, but if he's actually using his leg I bet you he feels better now than he did a couple days ago. Keep up the good work and keep us informed on what's going on.

I might order some online if I can find any, he doesn't hold his leg behind him anymore as well and he's the sweetest boy I've ever had, all he wants to do is cuddle
