Hi Kendra, I'm betting if you look at your security settings and go to the bottom "Start conversations with you" is either unchecked or you've selected "People you follow." If unchecked, no one can start a conversion with you. If set to "People you follow" only those folks you've followed can start a conversation with you.

Doesn't really matter though... If you like your settings the way they are, you can always start the conversation with the other person.
