I agree that core has to come out but you don't have to go digging right away. Get some clear iodine CVS or Walmart ask for it. Start putting that over it daily after about a week try and peel the scab off. I had all 5 of my Salmon Faverolles with bumble foot last year. It seems the infection won't give up until you get that core out.

Is it a liquid? We have liquid Iodine.

It’s a liquid but it’s colorless it works quicker than reg iodine.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

What a long strange trip this has been, life that is. I've got a lot to be thankful for even though sometimes I don't realize it. Of all things in life, I'm most grateful about being able to spend so much time with my boys. They have been such a strong driving force for me.

There's many other things I'd like to share about, but I'm already busy this morning, so they'll have to wait. So good morning, happy Thanksgiving, and I love your faces!
