My grandma was notorious for her pies in our little town so she had me on a step stool rolling pie crust when I was just a little Shaw. Didn't really do much of it by myself though until she passed on.
Now the holiday pie making chore has befallen to me.

Here's a laugh for you duck people.
I bought some chicken eggs at the store to supplement my duck eggs for Christmas baking since the dux are done laying for a while and I'm getting low on eggs.
Any who..
I'm cracking eggs for my pie a minute ago, calls for 4 eggs. So I used 2 duck 2 chicken.
I always use a butter knife to crack my duck eggs. I cracked those first..
Not thinking I grabbed the 3rd egg (chicken) and give it a wack.
Can anyone guess what happened?:lau:gig:lau:gig

I bet they haven't any problem eating it once cut. :)


If they are properly labeled no one eat them.
