There wasn't a single dirty dish when Mary left. I've already managed to fill a sink, using 3 burners, and the crock pot.

I like to dirty as many dishes as possible when my wife is gone. It makes her feel useful and warm inside to come home to a pile of dirty dishes.

She feels like I really need her then..

It's amazing how filthy their pools gets in just a couple of days. The water is changed daily, but I just scrubbed those things a couple days ago. I've obviously not got to the water yet this morning.

I'm syphoning my duck water onto my garden. It's great fertiliser, and it's summer here, so it gets the watering done at the same time.
 
I've got to talk to my neighbor and let him know we're shooting. Here doesn't mind, and others will be also, but here does have young kids. Dogs too. So anytime I discharge I let him know first.
Meanwhile the rest of the world never thought of firing guns at New Year. We clink glasses, hug, and/or sing, and in some places there are fireworks displays. Oh, and we eat. We like celebratory eating.
