Ollie had no girlfriend at his last home, and got picked on by pullets. Poor boy's just not assertive at all. The rooster he had to compete with there was just too much of a top cock.

Here though, Sully has some younger girls he's not interested in. The lavender girl has been on/off with him, but the Araucana girls have been very attached to him. He doesn't roost in the same spot every night, but these 2 are next to him wherever he does roost.

No these 2 are his girlfriends. He doesn't exactly protect them from the other boys, but other than that their a trio.

We went down the Mountain rode out of the rain, sun came out started back home got up top of the mountain cloudy and had a brief snow shower now sun is coming out. This is crazy weather for Jan.

First chicks here in years, brooded by a duck. No idea what kind they are, but they came from commercial chicken's eggs which I was surprised to notice were fertile.
