Flying by the seat of my pants!
I have 2m/2f Pekin, and yes they can be pretty loud. Big Momma cam be heard about 2 blocks away when she goes on a quack attack. I don't have any major complaints, but they are nowhere near my favorite breed. I've actually tried giving them away a few times but there people haven't followed through. Would you be interested? Both m/f pair are bonded, so it would need to be in pairs. They should be 11 months old now.DO IT! I want to see baby ducklings on this page. And my duck eggs are pre-ordered so I won't be seeing baby ducks for a while.
Speaking of... does anyone have pekin ducks? Do you like them? I've heard they're loud. Any truth to that? I pre-ordered welsh harlequin eggs (my dream duck breed) and some saxony eggs... but my son really wants a pekin duck. We like to play this game on the nintendo switch called "untitled goose game" where you basically are this big white goose that harasses the town. It's hilarious. Anyway, I told him no geese, but he wants a big white duck that he can name "untitled goose."
