@casportpony in regards to using as a incubator as a hatcher. What would work best, an automatic or a still air? I have eggs that need to be set pretty soon, but not all of my eggs are here to set. I was thinking about using the auto bator for incubation, and trying to get a still air to do the hatching in so I'm not worried about the time crunch so much. (lol, give me leeway for those darn egg auctions too!)
Do you have any suggestions on how to go about with that?
Thank you Kathy!
I may have told you this already, but you can feel free to call me Chris. You could feel free to just call me Turd too, but you'll get much less responses. ;)

Good Morning!! Ups driver told me the other day he stopped to move a box turtle off our dirt road so he wouldn’t run over it. He said it hissed at him, anyone ever heard of box turtles hissing?
Good morning!
I have not heard of that. Maybe he got his breed wrong?

okay, I did look this up... I guess all turtles are capable of hissing, but not all do it as a defensive trait. A box turtle could hiss when retracting they body in to the shell, and the hiss is just the air leaving the body so it will fit in the shell. So, it's pretty likely he was correct.
