I'm not even sure what color I'm getting to be honest. The original order was for white and buff oh, but they had the problem with the hatch rate. So this order has been prioritised as all black, all white and buff, or whatever it takes to complete my order. To be honest, it doesn't matter what color I get oh, they're guaranteed to be adorable.

I've not shown off the guineas in a while. They are slow to grow, but finally getting some size to them. Integration with thr Seramas has gone wonderfully. A'pollo is king stink, but does not pick on the guineas. Not to mention, I'm not even sure if he could catch them LOL. One got out this morning, and you could probably imagine all the four letter words running through my head. Fortunately that extreme flock mentality came into my favor as it did not want to go very far.

Does this look like the face of a Cockerel?
20190620_085846.jpg

I know that's not the best picture, but it wouldn't hold still. It's comb appears to be more red than the rest, and looks like it's waddle maybe forming. However his mother also has the same small waddle.

There seems to be a dominance thing going on between it, and the other definite Cockerel. At first I thought my other one what's causing problems, the one I watched for a while the mother hen was actually going after this one. She nipped at it hard enough at least three times I saw her pull a feather out.

Would you guys say this is two cocks fighting, one cock being dominant or just normal pecking order?

Also, at what age is it generally recommended to separate cockerels?

Aren’t the gorgeous!! You have quite the flock!! Are you still building houses?
Not really. I built a small stacked coop, but did not finish the duck house. I'm converting my out building in to a bird castle though.

The materials in order to make the duck house predator proof are just too expensive to buy all at once. However the building is already 90% secure, and plenty large enough to house my flock. Thre plan is to make 1/3 for ducks, 1/3 for the other birds, and 1/3 a secure run/pen. I'm going to have to move a wall, but in general, I already have most of the needed supplies to do it.
