That's not the hen pictured above by the way. Her comb is much smaller.
Speaking of her though, she left this on my shorts this morning. It was pretty small, nippers for comparison. It wasn't very watery, but about half was thick mucus looking.
@casportpony can you take s look at this please. They are already being treated with corid.

Finding the proper dosage for that was a bit frustrating too, but thanks to a thread from 2011 I was able to find the right mixture, hopefully. Just in case I am mixing 1/2tsp powder to 1 gallon of water. That is the powered Corid (20%) not the liquid Corid.
Sorry you have sick birds! The 1/2 teaspoon powder per gallon is not correct. The correct dose is no less than 1.5 teaspoons per gallon. That 1/2 teaspoon amount was based on flawed math and since no one bothered checking people just assumed it was correct.

That does look like coccidiosis poop. If your were you I would increase the powder to no less than 1.5 teaspoons per gallon and I would do an oral drench.

And this is how I would give the drench:

@casportpony thank you for the help. I'll adjust the dosage amount. Should I restart the 5 day period? I read both of the articles you linked and will do the oral drench tomorrow when I can get syringes.

Thank you for writing those too. Those 2 brief articles told me more than hours of searching and reading did.

I practice opening the mouths of a couple of chickens, and I noticed the trachea was considerably smaller and set back farther than the peafowl imaged in the article. Do I just need to make sure I get the liquid stream behind and to the side of that?

Thank you again.

For now all the birds minus the ducks are being treated with Corid. Oh its going to be nuttier than squirrel poo. This is only a portion of them.

Last night went off with a bang! We all had lots of fun, including the baby. This was his first July 4th celebration, and not 1 boom scared him. The fireworks went on for about 30 minutes and it was all 1 big grand finale.

The party was at the house of one of my sons schoolmates, and throughout the years parents and us have become friends. Over the last 10 years their parties have attracted the attention of the neighbors and surrounding community, so it then became a community party. There where a lot of people, and at least a dozen children my son's age.

I didn't get any firework pictures, but this is where there where set off. The first picture there are mortars from corner to corner lining the street. Plus the pallet in the middle. Second pic is more fore the trailer that was also a firework stand. At any given time there where at least 3 boxes firing at once.

This was our first year going, but I'm pretty sure well be back next year. Just having a safe place to let the kids run around was worth it. I can't even explain how happy I was about it being kid friendly. They even rented a water slide bounce house for the little ones.

Well I finally found a home for jerk face. When Cleo was there she helped keep him in check, now that she's gone he's running rampid. I'm pretty sure he's attacking my guinea fowl as well, to which I would really like those guys to get along with my chickens. I'm not the biggest fan of guineas but I still don't want them being abused. I wish he was a little bit nicer, I do think his plumage is very attractive, but he has become a risk to the other birds in my opinion, far beyond just pecking order

If you've ever been curious with a face of the jerk looks like oh, this is it!

At one point I was ready to just cull him, but fortunately it's not going to happen. I know I get real sentimental when it comes to my animals dying, but I have no qualms dispatching a threat to my animals, and that's the category he had been put in. Fortunately for jerkface, he will be the only rooster on-premises there. The guy has four hens that are all bantams, and wants some more chicks. I told him jerk face was just a barnyard mix, and he did not care. I showed him a picture of the plumage and he was happy as could be, I even told him I thought he was a big jerk.

The conversation went something like this...
"How much money would you like for him? "
"I'll give you a weeks worth of food to come pick him up tomorrow! "

So bye bye and good luck jerk face.
