The Quack Shack

Thanks I would appreciate that. Do you think using the 50/50 starter grower and broiler isn’t a good thing I haven’t had any problems with it that I am aware of just can’t find an all flock in Non GMO. Or much else in non gmo
Patti,

When I run the numbers later today I'll do the same for you so you can see what the analysis looks like. I don't see any issue with it for grown ducks. I use sunrise turkey starter to start my ducks and add a bit of brewers yeast. Since I have the sunrise recipes, there won't be any guess work, but it will lack the fetrell nutri-balancer info as that's not in my calculator.

Here are the sunrise recipes, divide by 40 to get weights for 50# or 80 for 25# (which will fill a 5 gallon bucket).

Mary has some better pictures on her phone, but check Violet out! As long as she had somewhere for her feet, she was a okay. Well one time she did fly into the baby highchair. That was a little bit funny.

This is about 4' in the air. She didn't want anything to do with sitting in my hand at the time, just standing. She was very calm though. There was no problem with the dogs or children's distraction, she was letting Xaiden pet her, and even let me go in for a kiss.

When I had the Co-op custom blend for me, they would store it for me. I use 55 gallon food grade, plastic drums for storage. They're air and water tight and hold 300 pounds per barrel. If I have the Amish start custom blending for me, I'll have to get more barrels and trailer.

Sweet pic. I'd like to have seen the kiss though. And if you ever get to mountains of NC you need to stop by and give my gander Sam a kiss. ;)
No kissy pictures, but I do have a couple of better quality ones. She had no fear of being that high up either, I was rather surprised.
