Good mornin' everyone!
I'll be out in the yard and shack getting some well needed work done.

Hopefully I'll get a 1/2 dozen or so trees planted. There is a large depression in the front/side yard from an old oak that fell over a long time ago. It's big enough it'll swallow the mower if your not careful when going around it. I loaded it up with duck bedding. There's also ~120# of worm casting mixed in the top half. It's got great fungal growth through out it from the wood breaking down. Under the bedding I put a bunch of grass clipping, plus the actual grass that was growing there. The hole is ~4' wide and close to a foot deep in the middle.

The general idea is to do a group planting of the Moringa trees. I'm basically going to just pull back a hole in the bedding, plant a tree, and back fill with casting, crustacean meal, and insect frass. Water it in with some microbes and with them luck. It's a bit of an experiment, but I've got enough trees to have some fun. Not everything has to work.

I've gotta get in the shack and fix the exhaust fan. It needs to be raised up, and redirected. Right now, it's just low enough i smack my head on it walking under it.
