Thanks for the pictures and the kind words! Is your duck pictured a male or female? Did you get them them from Cackle by chance?

Both the fawn and white ducks I pictured are Drakes. No I actually got my ducks from a local flea market that had several different kinds in separate areas , I was duck illiterate and picked out a couple of yellow ducklings I thought were pekin. Lol but they had a multitude of types there

That is so true the guy from the flea market said he bought ducks from everywhere plus a lot of big farms and duck owners sold him babies for the flea market plus he would sell friends ducks etc for them
I originally wanted to buy from a hatchery but they wanted me to buy six , I didn’t want that many. Then ducks were out of season from rural king etc telling me to check back next year . I didn’t want to wait , then I happened upon this giant flea married and they had plenty of all different breeds

Well you got a great find your ducks are beautiful. I know @Trimurtisan got his Runners from Cackle I did too my Fawn an White 2 so just wondering if maybe we all have cousins !!!lol

I’ll have to check them out if I look for more because as we know I have two drakes and two female Rouen and the two drakes like one Rouen best so I may end up having to add more females I’ll get a female or two runners maybe but most wont ship out only two

I didn't really know what I was doing when I started, but I'll have to admit, it's been fun. The birds seem to have taken to both structures pretty fast too. I've already seen 3 different birds use the piece I made yesterday.

Lol, that's part of the reason I ended up with so many ducks. When I made the original order with the "small package" fee, it was the same price as 15 ducks w/o the fee. So I ordered 15. Then there was a bad hatch, so they split my order in 2 shipments, sending 2 extra ducks on the 2nd portion.

Err, I've got a confession to make... Remembering my order, and doing some math I've realized I have 21 ducks, not 22.
17 from Cackle, and 4 Peking from CL.
