So the playground piece I was working on ended up getting used for another project. Just as that was swapped out, so was the "new" piece from a previous project. :D
This at one time was going to be a roof for a small coop, then I changed those plans. (my plans are always in a liquid state, constantly changing)

While filling the Light Bramhas food/water, one of them jumped out, and played around for a bit. They sure are cute "little"things. More like little monsters. Maybe it's just me, but even as a chick, it seems like a pretty big chick. Regardless, they are cute, fast, and not easy to fool.

Yesterday's project is being converted to a small 90* a frame coop.
I removed the 1x1 roost bars, and built a wall/door combo. Tomorrow I'm going to cut some kind of a locking mechanism, but in general the door is pretty heavy. I don't think any of out predators could open it as is.

I have to add my hugs to the bunch!!:hugs So sorry for your loss...loved the story! What a special friend, brother from another mother!
Birds have been very therapeutic for me, with losses and fails in my life. Any animal really, doesn't care about the rest of the craziness in the world, just that you love them...and feed them:love

We've had a busy couple of days here...making the more permanent goose & duck shacks...I will get some pics to share of them tomorrow!

Jealous to hear some of you got rain!! :hitStill nothing here! Night yall! Pooped from this weekend:th
