Chris, I have to agree with Patti. They are exceptionally good at hiding problems. About the only way to figure out what happened is to have a necropsy done. And often that's un-revealing as well

It’s very hard to lose any it does make us feel like we’ve some how let them down.

I was having a hard time placing how I felt, but that's exactly it. I've been trying to keep my in mind they are prey animals, and to not get to attached, but that's pretty hard for me to do.

I thought about opening her up, but I was a bit too attached to her to do one. Putting her down was difficult enough.
