Hey Kendra I’d soak his foot good in ES because if he got the bandage off he may have gotten some nasties in there. And when you wrap go up around the ankle up on the leg always so he can’t get it off as easy. No swelling?

I didn't have enough time to check. I'll get some pictures in the afternoon, would their still be swelling after he got them off?

It's going to be sore for a while. I'm sure he'll walk on it eventually. .but give it time to heal. Keep watching because sometimes it will come right back. It's not typically a once and done process.

Yep sometimes you have to go back in and remove more but give it a few days before you do. It will take the swelling time to go down unless it’s spread up into his joints but let’s hope it hasn’t. Do you have any left over people antibiotics?

Yes, I have a bunch of it. How many times should I apply it and if the infection gets worse I should take him to the vet, right? Although it's expensive I know what he has now so most likely they're just going to grab the core (If I didn't get it or if he had it) The drive is short as well.. 15 minutes so if he did get worse I'd most likely take him to a vet.

Are you prepared to spend a couple hundred bucks on him?

Also know you could spend the money and still lose him.

A vet might be the best chance for him, but know what it will cost you.

that means less money for the other birds feed and care.

And unless she/he is an Avian Vet they might just be guessing too..

BTW. I still believe all dux are evil and attempting to control the minds of our weaker humans... by making them believe dux are not evil..
