The ducks I don't worry about very much. As nasty as dux can be, they sure are hardy. The rest of the bunch worries me though. I leave the shack open all day, and there's plenty of stuff to hide under. Maybe I'll wait till it warms up outside some this morning.

I think the Silkies like to get wet. At first I thought they just didn't know better, but now I think they like it.

I found the turkey huddled under our peach tree yesterday, hiding from the rain. I'll have to get a picture of this tree, but it literally wouldn't hide a Serama! It's got like 7 leaves and the main trunk is thumb thick. Yet, all 6 turkey where hunkered down under it. :th
:lauThey aren’t the brightest are they?

Have you ever read the book or saw the movie The Shack? I highly rec it if not.
Yup.
Read the book before the movie came out.
Someone bought the book for me at a time in my life when I was very angry with God. It took me a long time to make myself finish reading it. . . I asked my friend who give it to me. . why do you think I need to read this? it's excruciatingly sad. Do you not think I've cried enough!
She told me, Shaw,
You need to get some perspective. Keep reading I think you'll understand.
It definitely helped me see things in different light.
The movie is good too. . but I am glad I read the book. Reading gives you more time to stop and reflect and let the concept sink in.

Aww thank you for sharing this. We read the book before the movie too. It’s defiantly an awesome way of helping heal. I would rec for anyone. :hugs
I think there has been a lot of controversy over that book and criticism from a lot of uptight religious types. The book is fiction..
Anyone who reads it should go into it with an open mind and realise it is the overall take away from it that matters.
Some people need to lighten up. :hmm
