Good morning!! Hope so far the day is a good one for everyone! Still dark here. Bob did y’all get those 60 mile hr winds. Sounds like a train passing through.

My winds topped out at about 10mph, nearly 5" of rain though and now it's 27*

And they probably would those things pick up quick when one isn’t 100%. I can imagine how sad that was to lose nugget and her little ones. We def are not perfect, mistakes happen. I know I’ve sure made my share. I look forward to seeing the new little family.

Oh yay forgot the good news about Mrs Black that is great new!!! They said we could get 1-3” of snow it would be over on the east coast the way that wind blew. We only got a dusting but the day is young.lol

She's got 9 in total. I was going to put just the 55F under her, but I put the FGCM under too.

Today was a good day for eggs! I'm going to guess someone else is laying now! 4 of them are ducks, the one in top is a chicken.

Is it common for a new layers vent to tear? Should I be worried about the blood? Well the chicken who bled, not the actual blood.
