She may go broody or she may just be making a nest to lay leave her eggs and see what happens. Not a very good time of year for ducklings though. I believe I let her wait till spring. Ducklings would have a much better chance of survival

Aahahaha! Big Poppa was trying to mount a Runner girl who was being patient, but got bored with his advances, so she took off running.

As to be expected from a Runner, she's pretty agile on her feet. Big Poppa better resembles a barrel rolling down the street. So little miss went running by one of the Araucanas who was head down eating. Big Poppa just barrel rolled over her. Pore chicken did a double back roll, landed on her feet and just looked totally baffled. I've never seen a chicken so confused.

They could use it more than us right now. It's sad what's going on over there. All that wildlife that's either died or put in danger is saddening.
