The chicks are doing great, Patti. Mom still looks like she's confused, but coming around. She didn't have the chicks running around much yesterday, but it's cold too. The only thing to concern me is I saw her peck a few chicks, but I'm not sure if it was motherly or not. I'm hoping it was just a "stay in line" kind of peck.

Hopefully that was all it was. She's pretty tiny for 9 chicks Hopefully she'll be able to handle them all. You know how rowdy they can be once they start growing up.

Oh nothing special. His beard is so big it just gets in everything. It's probably just water. If it was my beard though, it'd be leftovers in there.
