I know you are I peak on the rehoming thread once in a while and there you are.

It was a "safe" place for me at first. Not many members here are in Florida. Then al the sudden a few central fl posts came up. The one this morning is only 20 minutes down the road. Their invading in on me. They know my weakness. If your looking for me, I'll be hiding under my rock, or chair.

I have a near rooster flock.. I have 15-20 hens some of the hens are freeloaders at 7-8 years old...

and about 60 roosters

I should have added.. it costs me about $25 a dozen to produce eggs for some reason.

I had one a couple years ago....but he screwed up badly...

I own a farm with 2 homes on it...I bought the farm from my Brothers after my Dad had passed.... in the deal I got stuck with my Mom who is 89 now as a squatter that refuses to pay rent...

The rooster had jumped my wife and daughter a couple times.. my grandkids were scared to death of him....

I had mentioned if he kept it up he would become dinner..

My Mom came walking from the coop area one day carrying the rooster minus his head.. dripping blood...
She said it was the last time she was going to be attacked by him.. then took him into her house and ate him....
