I need a bit of help. One of my visiting birds, a blue heron, arrived today in my creek. Not sure why he's here IN THE WINTER? He only visits in the summer, he looks very cold and sick, he is huddled up, watery eyes and nose and looks old for a young bird, He's been coming around for 5 years so not sure how old he is, but he isn't OLD. He could barely fly and got himself stuck in a thorn bush, got him out and he flew off somewhere, I want to find him, he looked awful and I'd hate to see him die.
Becareful...
a blue heron that is up north... not that you’re really a northerner.... this time of year and looks sick could very well be a carrier of AI or some other disease.. keep it away from your chickens...and wash up, disinfect boots if you have been near it before going near your chickens...
If you do catch it room it with your dux
