No, I appreciate it though. I've got 10 boys after yesterdays Marans. He's beautiful though. I just want a few EE to have colored eggs for the boys. I like the duck eggs enough I'm trying to skip on chicken eggs.
Sounds like it was a nice date.Morning!
What little info I was given about the date, sounded like it went well! She's a very pretty girl, and seemed very nervous and shy. Dylan said he tried to pay for everything but she refused
All in all I would call it a success, and it sounds like they will be going out again
Love the pics Trim! Those littles are too cute!Florida weather is much better for chicks in January than Virginia!

No, don't really fight. I have 2 flocks, some are in quarantine and will go to breeding pins. They don't ask live together. The bantam flock has 2 Serama boys that live together in peace. The LF flock has... ummm... thinking...5-6 boys. Sully, the blue birchen Marans is a big fella who leads without aggression. He's assertive and will chase of younger boys from mating, but he's not mean in general. I'm actually super proud of him. The entire flock dynamic improved with him. He's so big though nobody challenges him.Holy moly, 10 roos? Do they ever fight? I think the most (mature) roos I've ever had at once would be like 3, but not for long.
Thank you!@Trimurtisan, congrats on a great hatch, they are adorable!
