Well holy schnitzel said the American. Do you have to deal with eastern brown snakes often? Are they inherently aggressive?

They are everywhere here. The really big ones that are as old as the lands themselves, you could walk by and never know its there. But the young ones are nuts.

Our babies are here! I still haven't gotten great pictures of them, I'll have to do that this afternoon. I have a habit of going outside to do stuff and leaving my phone in the house. If only women's clothing had more pockets in them.

This is Clementine & Isabelle when they got here yesterday afternoon. They are SO sweet, especially Clementine (who is the orange & white doeling in the back - AND she has a moonspot.) Peach & Navi are super jealous that I've been spending time with them. They'll be able to share a stall once they come out of quarantine and I get their fecal tests done.

Oh no. That's insane. How are you not terrified? I'm good with a lot of wildlife, but danger noodles scare the crap out of me. We have a lot of wooded acreage on our property that hasn't been cleared yet, and we live on the edge of some wetlands... so I'm always ready to die from a venomous snake bite at any moment. We have a friendly little black snake that lives under our shed, and that's fine, but if I see him, I'm still running for the hills.

Theres so many things in Australia that could kill you, it's too hard to be scared of them all. The browns are okay because theu are predictable. But all the other breeds.... no thank you.
